After the Sonoma upate 14.5 i noticed that even though there are no items in recycle bin , it’s showing something is present in the icon , but when i opened it’s showing “0 items “ , is this some kind of glicth ???
Even after emptying the Bin it’s still showing the same . :)

Have you shut down and restarted more than once since your update....
A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
