I've had this issue through several iOS versions. Siri SHOUTS everything at full volume. When, as Apple's support article suggests, I say "Hey Siri, speak quieter", she replies "OK, media will play more softly" without changing her own volume. How do I get her to change her volume?

Ask Siri something (for example Siri what time is it?) and turn down the volume with the volume button while Siri is speaking.
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety. Turn on Reduce Loud Sounds, then drag the slider to specify the maximum volume.

Hi SravanKrA, what is loud to me in this case is Siri giving spoken responses at 100% volume. And seemingly no way to reduce it. And I realize in my initial post I did not specify, but this is not about Siri in my headphones or earbuds, this is Siri yelling at me from the coffee table or nightstand. Assuming that taking it to a genius bar is effectively not an option, any other suggestions?
EDIT: I should also mention that the volume on everything else is fine, and is controllable as expected
No one else has experienced this and has a solution?
