Dust Accumulation behind LCD Screen
I can remove the front screen panel from my iMac 21" Monitor; however, the dust build-up is behind the LCD screen. Any help on this?

Get 2 suction cups and place one about 1/3rd down near the top from the left side and the other 1/3rd down from the top on the right side and pull the glass out, its held in by magnets all around the display and the suctions cups will separate the glass cover from the display. Be very careful with the glass and the screen and clean the dust VERY carefully!!!!!!!!!! Then re-attach the glass without the suction cups and magnets will affix it.

Then the front glass is held on by magnets and can be removed with suction cups for cleaning.
The glass panel is fairly fragile, so it is a good idea to search for some DIY instructions and/or videos.
If you have determined there is dust behind the display itself and not the glass cover then no it cannot be removed. Considered a new Mac???
IF the computer is a 2012-2020 iMac the glass is fused with the display and cannot be seperated. If the computer is a late 2009-2011 21.5" model please refer to the following video to remove the glass:

What is the exact year model of your 21.5" iMac...?
