Small image of screenshot will no longer swipe away from lower left corner

Until today when I take a screenshot, a small image of the screenshot appears in the lower left corner. I can normally swipe it away by swiping left. All of a sudden that is no longer working and I can’t swipe the small photo away and off of the screen. I did just install a new case for my phone and wonder if I pushed some of the side buttons in a particular order that caused stop working. I’ve searched this community and online and I can’t find any settings for this. Can somebody please help? Thank you!
