Support for synching contacts and calendars has been deprecated and will be removed in a future version of iTunes (after 12.13.13) What to do?

I use iTunes - Info - Sync Contacts - Windows Contacts to add contacts onto iPhones being issued to new staff. That way when they get a call from other staff, caller ID with display the contact name, or if they need to make a call to staff, they need to look no further that the contacts on the phone.

But an iTunes pop-up message says the ability to sync contacts will be removed from iTunes in a future version, and it's already NOT a feature in the "Apple Devices" app.

Any other suggestions about how I can load contact details onto new iPhones being issues to staff so they can see who's calling them?

Thanks.

This threat has been around for some time. My guess is that iTunes is going to continue to support local syncing until Apple stop releasing new versions and fully abandon iTunes in favour of Apple Music/TV/Devices. Apple's intention appears to be that you will switch to some form of cloud sync in future. As a Microsoft 365 user my calendar and contacts already sync over the air. See What is iCloud for Windows? - Apple Support for an alternative approach.
