Stage Manager Command+Tab Space-Switching Issue

When using Stage Manager and switching between applications with ⌘ + Tab (Command + Tab), if the selected app is in a different space, the screen doesn't switch to the relevant space, and the app's windows aren't shown. For example, switching from Messages in Desktop 1 to Photos in Desktop 2 via Cmd + Tab selects Photos but doesn't switch to Desktop 2. I have to click the Photos icon in the Dock to see its windows, sometimes twice.

This issue occurs whether applications are assigned to specific Desktops or assigned to None/All Desktops.

Any suggestions on how to fix this or create a workaround (e.g. reassigning some keyboard shortcut)?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.5

There are some known issues here.

The work around has been turn off Stage Manager, and compare your results.
