Paramount+ system error

I'm trying to validate my Apple ID on Paramount+ using the link provided by Paramount+ and I keep getting a system error. I've been trying for over 20 mins and it keeps saying "A system connection error occurred" Any ideas?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.7

Do they still do validate Apple TV app channel subscriptions for use outside the Apple TV app? I couldn’t find it last time I looked, like they removed that option. Please contact Paramount+ Help Center for assistance, as it is their policy, their site, and their API.
