Touch not working on the bottom of the screen.

The iPhone 6S was in disuse for sometime. I tried now, but the touch is not working at the bottom area of the screen. For example, the dock area of the Home Screen. Everything else is fine. If I use a mouse or external keyboard, that area is working. Only touch is the issue. Any remedies?
