I changed my AppleID on I pad and phone but Mac will not allow charge

I changed my Apple ID on my iPhone 16 and I pad with no problem I MacBook Air M2 will not accept new ID

MacBook Air, macOS 14.4

Do you have a complete new Apple ID or just the mailadres changed? If it is just the address try and reboot the mac to see if the changes will synchronize.

If the complete ID is changed what happens when you;re trying to log in?

I don't' know what Mailadres is. I did a complete new Apple ID and my iPhone 15 and 1 year old I pad both accepted the new ID. My concern is that with my MacBook Air M2 it is not updating my computer.

It just won't accept new password when I enter it to download new updates
