No Longer Able to Forward Messages to MacBook

I reset the settings on my phone a few weeks ago due to being unable to send out a call, and now I no longer have the option to forward my texts to my MacBook. That option has disappeared under my Settings.

Has anyone else had this issue? Do you know how to resolve it?

Text message forwarding not working from iPhone to Mac I have text message forwarding enabled on my iPhone, so that I can send and receive messages from the phone on my Mac. But sometime in the last month or two, this has stopped working. Both devices are running the latest iOS 17.1.1 and MacOS 14.1.1. I've toggled the "text message forwarding" setting repeatedly, and restarted each device more than once. Also, there used to be an option for Messages on my Mac to start new conversations using my phone number, but I no longer see that -- only my Apple ID. I'm thinking this may be related. Text Message Forwarding Missing After IOS26 update Ever since updating iphone to IOS26 my text messages are not syncing to my macbook. I can no longer find text message forwarding under the messages setting. I have tried all the recommended fixes like checking to see if both devices are signed in under the same sign on. Toggling text message on and off. Resyncing messages with icloud. The only thing I haven't done was check text message forwarding on my iphone because it's no longer there.

SMS Messages are not being forwarded to my MacBook. Text Message forwarding is on I am not receiving SMS messages from non iPhone users on my MacBook Air. Every other question has been met with the response to turn on text message forwarding from my iPhone, however, this is already on and the problem persists. I am receiving all iMessages on both devices. I have an iPhone 12 and a 2022 MacBook Air. I recently bought the MacBook refurbished and have had this issue since setting up the computer. Both devices are completely updated.
