Low sound on keyboard click.

One week old I pad air 13 . When typing on keyboard you can hardly hear the keyboard clicks. Have spent a week with many people from Apple to solve this issue. My details were sent to America but no conclusion on my issue . I did a video with old keyboard from I pad pro 11 and I pad mini . They agreed my new I pad was about 50% lower in sound. I had a replacement yesterday from JOHN LEWIS , and keyboard sound still the same can hardly hear it .

System sounds (e.g., keyboard clicks) and ringtone volume are inexplicably linked - and this can lead issues with the volume of some sounds. Try changing some iPad settings:

Settings > Sounds > [Ringtone & Alerts] > Change with Buttons - set to OFF

Drag the associated volume slider all the way to the right (i.e., maximum).

Turning-off Change with Buttons decouples the regular sound volume from other sound settings. Regular sound volume is still adjustable using the physical iPad buttons, or using the slider in the Control Centre.
