Will apple take down the fake videos of the Apple Watch hidden camera?

There has been a lot of fake videos lately about a supposed "hidden camera" in the crown of the Apple Watch Ultra. I wanted to know if Apple is working on taking these videos down or if they are even aware of it.

Apple can only request hosting sites remove content. They can threaten legal action but they cannot "take it down." Complain to the sites involved.


If you need an official answer, you need to ask Apple. Their employees involved in such matters will not see your question in these user-to-user forums.


There are options for your concern outside this tech help setting where questioning Apple policy is, per the Terms of Use to which we all agreed to follow, off limits (see Section B.1)

That will likely not get you a reply, but someone at Apple will see it.


—Option 2: Report to Apple Legal: Legal - Contact Us - Apple

You will need to provide details including the URLs of the sites involved.

Fake videos are endemic.


Apple has at least one patent here:


iFixIt has hardware teardowns, if you’re inclined to see what is present inside the available Watch models.
