If there were any Apple employees here whose job gave them access to the information that you seek, they would probably be under a Non-Disclosure Agreement preventing them from sharing it with you.
That's assuming that there even is a "get AirPods for free while purchasing MacBook Air" promotion planned. The nature of any promotion is also something Apple tends not to announce in advance.
