MOTION 5 NOT OPEN
I HAVE OPENED MOTION 5 AND WORKED ALL DAY FOR MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. TODAY, HOWEVER, MAY 26, 2024 AFTER UPDATING MY MOTION 5 WILL NOT OPEN. I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS UPDATED OR MY MI CLIP ETC 24 IN MAC DESKTOP

Please check which version of Motion you have, and which version of macOS, and the exact model of iMac.
If unsure:
From the Apple menu, choose About this Mac.
It will tell you the model of your mac - please include the year (e.g. iMac 27", late 2015).
It will also tell you the version of macOS - e.g. 12.7.3 Monterey.
In Finder, press Command-Shift-A to open the Applications folder. Locate Motion in there, select and press Command-I. Tell us the version number.
