Anyone else has missing pictures from iphone?

I'm using an iPhone 15ProMax and I just noticed that all the photos taken on a particular day(trip) in April are missing. I shared some with family and friends but now they are all gone from my phone. (Checked the deleted folder as well).

I’m not sure when it happened, I just noticed that they were missing after the last update to 17.5.1.
