Can I sync Apple Music library to iPad and iPhone without a subscription?

Is there a way to backup the music CDs I have just uploaded to the Apple Music library. I do not have a subscription. Can I sync, via USB cable to my Mac, to my iPhone and iPad? I do not want an Apple Music subscription but how can I get an iTunes account? Some of my music was purchased through iTunes years ago, and some were purchased years ago but not from iTunes.

Hello,

If all your music is in the Music application on your Mac, you can synchronize it on all your devices: Sync music between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. You don't need to have an Apple Music subscription to do that. I don't have one either and this is how I synch all my music (CDs and bought from different services, including iTunes) on my iPhone and iPad.

To back up your music (and all other personal data), use Time Machine on your Mac: Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support.
