Can I reverse the iOS 17.5.1 update on my iPhone 12?
just bought a iphone 12 phone was working great till ios update 17.5.1 can not hear anything unless its on speaker can i reverse the update

No, you cannot go backwards on iOS versions. Did you buy the phone new or used? It was formally discontinued by Apple in September, 2023.
After you updated the phone did you perform a Forced Restart? If no, thats the first thing you should try --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
