Voice texting repeating message 2x plus

I voice text a lot. Lately it’s repeating my text 2-3 times even before I’m finished. WHY AND HOW DO I STOP IT?! It’s maddening to send a simple text of a few sentences and it turns into a long paragraph repeating the same sentences over and over again
