I can't seem to install provisioning profiles to my devices and don't get any reasons why

I added my devices to my developer portal, created a wildcard id and one for work, went through the processes of creating the certificates and profiles and when I double click it on my Mac it copies over to the relevant folder but when I go into Xcode and I try to add the profile to my phone it just tells me I must make sure it is setup for my device.

I know it is setup for my device because I had just created it all. I pressed spacebar on the profile and checked the devices and there it is, large as day... but I can't install it to my device :(

So next I try to go to the developer portal via my phone itself and try to install the profile directly from the website onto my phone. Today this just tells me the profile can't be installed.

I somehow managed to get a profile on my phone (no clue how) but it says the certificate was issued by "Apple Worldwide Developer Relations Certification" but it is signed by me (Apple Development : [my name]" and apparently I am "Not Verified". Huh? What does THAT mean? Where how do I get verified?

My account has been inactive for over a decade but I renewed it for work purposes a few weeks ago. Since then I have not been able to get anything I create to run on my devices. I am using Visual Studio and Visual Studio for Mac to build MAUI apps and am able to link my developer profile to the apps then build and upload them to my devices but when I try to run them I am told "This app cannot be installed because it's integrity cannot be verified"

I have upgraded Xcode and Visual Studio for Mac to the latest versions, downloaded the relevant workloads for MAUI, installed the relevant emulators (not really relevant but thought I would mention it since during debug sessions it caused a problem if I didn't have the right ones installed), my devices are on the latest OS versions... I have no idea what else to try :(

I am trying to copy these profiles onto my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my iPad Air 4th Gen from my Mac Studio M1 as well as from Windows 11 via the Mac Studio.

I have deleted everything and recreated everything multiple times over but I am still running into these hurdles that give 0 indication of what the problem is. Googling for assistance I find "somewhat related" info but not exactly the same so the help is not of any help at all :(

How do I get my developer profile onto my phone? Why is this so hard? :(
