Hi There, Finder is showing the incorrect space used on an external drive.
I've done a quick add up and the finder size count comes to about 4.5TB used.
Disk utility lists 0 as purgeable
Running Sonoma 14.5
Any ideas?

For a second detailed look at what's on the external drive, get and use OmniDiskSweeper.
And if den.thed's suggestion doesn't show it...
Thanks to Bob Harris file sizes, Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal:...
sudo ** -hx | sort -h
The only accurate reporting of the space used will be in Disk Utility.
Thank you. I've run through what's on that drive though and can only account for 4.5tb of use.
I've no idea what's bloating the drive.
