Hi,

Unfortunately, only Windows and Linux appear to be supported.

Results from Search - Apple Community indicate that workarounds may be possible, usually involving a patch. However, be careful! Generally speaking, it is not wise to get files from unknown sites. Always download from a trustworthy source, such as Apple or the printer manufacturer.

If necessary, since CAPT drivers for Linux are available, you could perhaps carry out an experiment with a Raspberry Pi print server (such as mentioned by Techguyuk in Can’t print with iPadOS17 - Apple Community). Such a method may allow printing from a Mac or an iPhone/iPad.

Hi Ujjal,

The printers listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support do all support Apple's AirPrint technology. Make sure that you choose an AirPrint-compatible model.

Since you have been using a laser printer, that would probably be a good choice. For example, a monochrome laser printer has a low per-page cost, with a high-quality output. Many printers have wireless capabilities. I suggest that you begin by taking a look at the web sites of the major printer manufacturers. Brother is another well-known make in this field. Good luck!

Oops! That's not so good.

You can download and install earlier versions (if available) via softwareupdate in Terminal. It does require that you erase your drive in order to install it.

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 14.4.1

You would need to create a bootable USB installer from that installer and use it to erase and install 14.4.1.

Do you know if they plan on continuing support? If not, I would just get a new computer as it will not be simple to restore the data from a newer OS to the older OS.
