Bluetooth volume low iPhone 15

I have a Bose SLIII that I use in the garage. Usually rub it on about 1/2 volume to not disturb the neighbors. Just got my iPhone 15 set up and was going to work in the garage. Hooked my phone to the speaker, and it has to be at full volume now. This little Bose speaker is usually amazing, but with the new phone, it’s pitiful!

I have turned sound check off, changed the device type in Bluetooth settings, turned off the headphone safety loudness reduction… nothing is helping. I like loud music, and like to hear the music over my cordless drill! Please help!
