Update to Ventura from Monterey

Hey there!

Typically, you only need to use safe mode to install a macOS update if something isn't working right in standard mode. If that's the case for you, use Software Update in System Preferences to upgrade to the latest version of Ventura.

If Software Update isn't finding the Ventura upgrade, but you have a compatible iMac (2017 or newer), you can use the App Store to download the macOS Ventura installer, then use it to upgrade your Mac.

Follow Previous advise - First

As the computer does Qualify to running Ventura and is running Monterey

Using this Terminal Command, copy and paste into Terminal

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 13.6.7

I will manually download the Full Version of Ventura 13.6.7 with is about 12.xx GB

This will create a new Application in applications folder called " Install Venture Application "

Suggest you Stop there

Always make a Time Machine Backup  before doing any upDates / upGrades 

When ready, launch the Installer like any other application and follow the prompts
