Help removing dropbox from Mac!

Hello!

I'm wiping an old Mac, which has my dropbox folder on it.

I logged out of the app, moved the app to the trash -- and then emptied the trash.

But the folder still shows up in finder -- along with the files, which is troubling.

Are those just the locally stored files? I guess I don't have to worry about those being deleted because the cloud is no longer connected to the computer?
