You have a MacBook Pro M2 with Apple silicon.

The only supported means for running Microsoft Windows for Arm is as a guest using Parallels.

Without support, you might be able to get Windows for Intel working using both virtualization and emulation, using a package such as UTM.

Hosting Windows somewhere else and accessing it remotely can be the most practical approach, though. Microsoft refers to this approach as a “cloud PC” in the article linked above. (This approach also won’t use storage in your Mac, as adding a virtual machine guest can require a fair amount of storage.)

For assistance with Windows, check with Microsoft.

VMware Fusion / Fusion Player for Mac might work as a substitute for Parallels.

AFAIK, Broadcom VMware Fusion Pro and VMware Workstation Pro are the current packages over there (Fusion Player is end-of-sales), and while those might well work here, those are not something Microsoft was listing as supported.

I’m also reluctant to suggest VMware products given the recent price increases and migration to subscription licensing all underway at Broadcom. Not until after Broadcom gets that churn and that license migration and pricing sorted. Some VMware customers have reportedly gotten massive 1200% price increases, and that with a whole lot of downsizing happening at VMware, too.

Either way, a VM application running on a Mac will create ARM VMs. So you'd need Windows 11 for ARM, and all the notes on Microsoft's site regarding it would apply.
