Can I return an opened apple Macbook that has been setup within the 14 day return period AU?

I recently purchased a Macbook a couple days ago and am looking to upgrade to the more powerful version. I will have to order and wait for the Macbook to be made as it is a custom version. Whilst i am waiting for the delivery i will use the version i purchased up until a day before it is due for the return and then try to return it. And wait for the delivery to arrive. I am wondering if i am still able to return the Macbook, it has been opened and fully setup. I still have the box, charging cable and items that came in the box.
