iPads as Speech Devices for Disabled Community

I'm a speech-language pathologist who works with non-verbal children. We use iPads all the time as a way to talk. It's always a fight to get an iPad through insurance (for families who even have insurance) and even then it's still so expensive! I wonder if Apple provides any discounts for a non-verbal child using the device to talk?

It also seems like Apple may be missing a key demographic in their campaign for inclusivity and diversity.
