Why won't all my recently purchased music sync to my iPod Nano 7th Gen from iTunes?

I'm attempting to synch recently purchased music from iTunes to my gen 7 Nano. The music displays as downloaded in iTunes, and some of the recent purchases synch, while others will not. Any suggestions?
