What is the Best Snipping Tool for MacBook Pro Sonoma?

Hey all,

I'm a long-time Windows user who's just switched to a Mac, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to take and edit screenshots. On Windows, I used to rely heavily on the premium Fastone snipping tool, but I haven't found an equivalent on Mac that lets me add text, shapes, and other annotations easily. Does the built-in Mac snipping tool have these editing features, or should I be looking for third-party apps?

Is there any snipping tool that work well on a MacBook Pro M2. It could be a big plus with user-friendly UI and robust editing capabilities. Free options would be awesome, but I'm also willing to consider paid snipping tools if they offer a significant advantage.

Thanks

To get the same level of editing capabilities as FastStone Snipping Tool, you can try Skitch. As Best Snipping Tool for MacBook Pro Sonoma, Skitch is free app from Evernote that offers a wide range of annotation tools, including text, shapes, arrows, and more. It's easy to use and integrates well with Evernote.
