"Review Your Recovery Contact" notification loop bug

Since updating to Sonoma 14.5, I have been getting nonstop and continuous notifications about reviewing my recovery contacts. I tried dismissing the notification, but it will only open up settings and take me to the account recovery contacts screen. About 3 seconds after closing the screens by clicking done, the notification comes right back along with the red bubble over the system settings and in the system settings left panel. The only way I can get it to leave me alone and not block my screen is to click and slide the notification to the right. But even with that, after a few minutes, it still comes back like it was reset.

I tried adding a new contact for account recovery - did not fix it. Tried removing a person - did not fix it. I also tried to remove my husband from the list as he no longer uses any Apple products, and I get an error stating that "Couldn't communicate with a helper application."

I have tried restarting my MacBook several times, and even did a forced shutdown. Nothing seems to get rid of the is notification. The notification will even come back up while I still have the recovery contact screen still up.

Any help is appreciated. If Apple Support Staff could forward this to their MacOS engineers, that would be delightful so they can fix this issue.

Thank you.
