How bad this is depends of the liquid. Some ( beer; pop; tea; fruit juices) are weak acids that are guaranteed to corrode metal parts, logic board traces, and contacts. Even plain tap or bottled water is harmful.

There is not really anything effective you can do at home. Liquid damage tends to get worse with time. Don't be surprised if your computer stops working later.

🛑 DO NOT put the computer in rice!!! The fine dust that coats rice gets int every tiny corner of the device where it can attract more moisture in a humid environment.

If your computer is still classed as supported by Apple, I recommend you have them evaluate immediately. Any delay increases the potential amount of damage.

No one can estimate the cost of liquid damage repair without evaluating the computer first-hand. If you comp is not on the supported list, you'll ned ot find an Apple Authorized Service Provider who can get parts.

Be aware the the majority of notebook computers eventually die from the far-reaching effects of being wet. Place your homeowers'/renters' insurance carrier on notice of a potential loss now; it may the the only financial relief you get.

There is nothing you can do remove the liquid other than leaving your MBP open to "dry out." And wait and see if any problem develops.

Unfortunately if a problem does develop there is no warranty coverage for liquid damage unless you have AppleCare+ and even that has a $299 copay. There are liquid sensors inside the MBP, so any Apple Authorized Service Provder will know if any liquid was involved in a damage claim. Without AppleCare+ the cost of repair is likely to be close to the cost of a new MBP.
