formula for Numbers using MacBook Air

how to create a formula to count the number of true check boxes in different rows of a spread sheet. It's a softball score sheet that has 7 innings. I need to know how many singles player 1 had through the entire 7 innings.

You can add a column at the end of the table and then use the following formula.

=COUNTIF(C7:H7,TRUE)

Then, you can copy this formula to the other cells in that column.
