2015 MBP Screen Flicker - Not the LVDS Cable

Hi, I have a Mid 2015 15" MacBook Pro and the screen has a feint verticle line down the middle and is flickering. It does not flicker plugged into a monitor so hopefully that discounts the logic board (unless its the connector on the board where the LVDS cable goes). I have replaced the cable and its still the same. I can't deduct much else other than a bad screen and I need a replacement maybe? Just for the record, I have done the PRAM and SMC reset. It flickers straight away on the Apple logo too before it even gets to the login screen. I'm a bit surprised its not the cable after everything I have read!

Vertical lines usually indicate an issue with the built-in Display Assembly.

If you enable mirroring and the line is only on the built-in screen, then you have confirmed the built-in Display is bad. You can also take a screenshot and view the screenshot on another device to see if the line is visible (or view the screenshot on the laptop making sure to move the picture slightly off center so that the picture does not line up with the line you see). If the line is not visible in the screenshot, then you have confirmed the built-in Display Assembly is bad.

No, the line isn't visable on a screenshot on another device. The flickering is very bad so it has to be the display as the cable is new. I think its a bin job unless I can get a 2nd hand display. I don't mind one with the staingate issue as thats easy to fix.
