Sharing Internet from wifi over ethernet-(DHCP issue)

SO I am trying to share my wifi through Mac to one of my other PC(windows) which has a faulty NIC and wifi is not working. While trying to connect through Mac internet sharing over ethernet I cant seem to be able to connect to the internet in my other pc and while trying to troubleshoot its showing cant connect to the DHCP server and the network is showing as an unidentified network.

Internet Sharing (in my experience) has never passed the DNS over to the connected computers. Try adding a public DNS address to the network settings on the PC.

Thank you for replying. I already added the DNS and it didn't work, and after some Google search I came across an article where it asked me to start a bootpd DHCP server and it worked and i have no clue what was wrong or what fixed it :)
