It is not in the “about” menu. I spend an hour of chat and phone time with apple techs on this question today, and they could not tell me. I raised the issue because GeekBench 6 indicated there are only 15GB of RAM on my 1TB model, whereas the specs state there are 16GB of RAM.

Apple defines internal storage and RAM as decimal gigabytes (1000MB = 1GB) - whereas many diagnostic tools still use the more traditional measurement (1024MB = 1GB).
As such, due to this discrepancy, the Geekbench App likely calculates the available RAM to be less than 16GB - and then rounds-down to the next whole number (15GB).

If you have the new iPad Pro (M4) it is 16GB. Not sure why speaking to Apple couldn’t confirm this for you. As far as it showing in settings…I don’t think it ever did. But there is no iPad that comes with 15GB ram to the best of my knowledge. Did you have an issue that prompted you to have GeekBench 6 determine the ram? Or were you just looking for curiosity?

Curiosity, as many iPad Pro 2024 reviews were citing GeekBench6 measurements. So I wanted to see for myself. The RAM issue was not mentioned in any review that I came across. And the Apple tech said it is the first time he had heard about it.
Same result on a different app, Device Monitor, that does not appear to be rounding down.
I experienced the same issue only 15GB being detected.
