I am trying to open my iMovie projects on my iPad. The response I get is… This project contains clips which have been deleted from your photo or music library.
I may have deleted the clips that I used to create the iMovie because I didn’t think that I needed them any longer. Should I not have done that?
Is there a way to recover my iMovie projects?

Hi,
If your deletions were made from your iPad Photos app within the last 30 days you can restore your media from the “recently deleted” album. Otherwise you probably are out of luck. I am not as familiar with iPad iMovie as I am with Mac iMovie. So possibly others with more experience with iPad iMovie will chime in with other suggestions.

Another possibility, in the event that you have your media also stored somewhere in addition to the photos app, is to reimport the media into iMovie and reconstruct the projects. As with either method that I suggested, your edits would not be preserved, so you would need to redo the projects
