New ipad (ipad pro 4th gen) won’t send text messages to android phone?

Had a 3rd gen iPad Pro where Text messages with android devices worked fine. After setting up new 4th gen iPad Pro text messaging does not work with android devices.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding and select your new iPad.
