Open vs get in App Store

My app disappeared so I went to the App Store to get it again and it says open instead of get. Does that mean my app is somewhere on my phone?

Yes, Open means that the app is on your iPhone.

Apps can be removed from the Home Screen without being deleted. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last Home Screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it to the Home Screen.

There is a search option on the Home Screen and there is also one at the top of the App Library screen.
