How do I downgrade my iCloud storage?

How do I change my 2 TB icloud storage back to what I had originally. I don’t want to pay for 2 TB anymore. If I could get one terabyte that would be fine.

200GB is the next smallest storage plan from 2TB. There is no 1TB plan. See: iCloud+ plans and pricing - Apple Support

Click here and downgrade to a smaller plan. It'll take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Apple increased the 1TB plans to 2TB without raising the price. If you were upgraded that way, you can't go back.
