Black piece of plastic missing on one of my AirPod 3rd gen.

The left AirPod, has a missing piece of the black plastic. The audio still works, but it sounds statically. And maybe once or twice when I’m taking it off my ear and touched the wire, it electrocuted me. I’m wondering if anyone knows a place for me to order the piece that fell out? Cause I can’t seem to find any online

Thank you for the clarification.

Go for a New Pair with AppleCare:

Did you purchase AppleCare with these? If not, then when you get a new pair, consider getting AppleCare with you new pair. Note that Intentional damage is not covered by AppleCare. Only Apple has the ultimate all in returns and replacements. These are just user-to-user forums. Note that AppleCare is not an option everywhere. See here: AppleCare Products - Headphones - Apple

Back Plastic:

Are you taking about ear tips? White ear tips come with AirPods, and they are not of plaice. That would mean you have third-party ear tips, in which case you should contact the manufacturer, requesting a new pair. So, if this is hardware crack, then get a new pair, going here: AirPods Replacement, Repair, & Service - Apple Support
