There are countless days that fit that sentiment. The fact remains that the military and the government do not assign federal holiday status to military victories. You can add significant dates that you feel need to show on your devices. You asked about a specific day and its relation to military history and you were provided the why. There are plenty of non-military historical dates that also aren’t on the calendar where brave men a women also lost their lives for the rights and freedoms of everyone. Doesn’t diminish their importance or stop people from recognizing those dates. Showing on the calendar or not doesn’t change the historical importance of any of these events.

To the best of my knowledge it never was on the calendar on any device I currently use or used in the past (including non-Apple devices). It is not a National holiday. The US doesn’t commemorate military victory dates with a holiday. Also don’t recall it being on any now “old school” physical calendar except for a military themed calendar that used to come out annually at the now renamed Ft. Benning Military Base in Georgia (not sure if other bases did the same thing).
