Unable to locate music I purchased from the itunes store

I purchased music from the iTunes store in the app that's on my PC. While the music is in my iTunes library in the app, it's not showing up as purchased when I look at purchases in the iTunes store (also on the app), nor is it showing up in the iTunes store on my iPhone, or in the music app on my iPhone. I don't know what else to do. I've looked at suggestions online and checked the settings, but nothing is bringing up the music. It's not all bad, because it IS in the library - but it would be nice if it would be easily accessible on my iPhone instead of having to download it, which is always an iffy prospect at best.
