Space bar works in Pages and other apps but not with Finder search field

My iMac using macOS Sonoma 14.5

Blue tooth keyboard works fine editing text or using Pages but I can't do a Finder search if I use more than one word. It runs the words together, no spaces. Example, trying to search "old man williams" comes out as oldmanwilliams

Spacebar key not working on Chrome and Safari in Mac Studio I recently purchased a new Mac Studio along with a new keypad and magic mouse. I successfully migrated the data from my old Mac Mini. However, when going on Google, Youtube or other sites, I've been having trouble with the space bar in that it will only allow either one space between characters as on Google Search or with YouTube and other sites, no spaces at all between characters are possible. In both instances, a blue border appears around the text area as soon as the space bar key is pressed. This is also happening on other apps as Chrome and Safari. My iMac zooms and highlights areas I'm using if hit the spacebar. My iMac zooms and highlights areas, when I use the spacebar during typing. When it happens it will not even allow me to put spaces between words. This seems to happen out of the blue. Because I can type for a bit before it occurs. Esc does not make it go away. Instead, it highlights folders I'm not even using. I've checked the shortcuts but can find nothing that uses the space bar. I'm using a iMac 24" M1. I have tried to do a screenshot of the highlighted area and it just goes away until I close the screenshot app.

process of keywording is very buggy and glitches often - how to make it go more smooth While trying to quickly type keywords there is something that is slowing me down. It takes sometime up to 1 or 2 seconds for the system to register and accept a keyword. Then when I start typing another keyword and about half way through typing the next keyword the system glitches, erases what I have typed and then begins halfway through the word I have just typed. For example - I will start typing the keyword "brick wall" - the system will glitch when I hit the letter c and erase all I have typed and them I will end up with the key word "k wall" Why is this happening? and how can I stop this from happening. It is really interrupting my flow. This is in Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.1 - but has been happening for years over previous OS as well

Make sure that in your Accessibility settings you have Full Keyboard Access turned OFF.
