iPhone X Camera Intermittent On & Off

My iPhone X front and back cameras and flashlight all simultaneously turn on and off randomly, about every couple months. When they turn off, a message reading "failed to activate camera" pops up on apps that use my phone camera. Face ID has never worked since the first time the cameras became unreliable.

This has been going on for 2 years but I was okay with not having a reliable camera until my job required it. When my cameras and flashlight are working, they work perfectly. However, every time they blank out, literally nothing I do can cause them to turn on.

I have tried:

1. Restarting
2. Software updates
3. Restoring my iPhone
4. Opening many apps to use the camera through them, in an attempt to activate the camera.
5. Spamming the camera app by opening and closing it over and over many times.

I think it is a software issue due to the fact that when the camera works, it works perfectly. Let me know what you think.
