IOS 17.5.1 Bluetooth and MS Outlook Crash

Ever since I updated my iPhone 14 Pro Mac IOS to the latest 17.5.1, I’ve been encountering the following issues:

  1. MS Outlook Crash : The app would automatically close after a few seconds of opening it. To resolve, I had to delete the app and re-install. It would work but after a while, the system will crash again.
  2. Airpods Bluetooth Disconnection : While listening, my Airpods would get disconnected. When I opened my settings to reconnect, the settings would crash multiple times until I’m m able to disconnect properly,

Please help to provide solutions to these.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution! Please look in the right direction.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

SravanKra, if the iOS update changes setting without the user knowing then it is in fact the iOS updates fault for the issue. How would us the user know if the setting were changed due to the update and why are there no instructions to default back to the setting prior to the update? We the user do not know what settings were changed due to the update. This is the problem with the updates as there is no information to users on what the update with change and or affect after the update
