Touch ID not working After Stolen Device Protect turned on

If anyone has solved this issue, please help me fix it. I have the same problem i.e touch id not working to disable stolen device protection on my IPhone SE 2020. Please guide how to fix this issue.

Tried to log off phone, Touch ID required Tried to delete fingerprints, Touch ID required. Tried Face ID but the SE 2020 does not have it. Tried turning off Stolen Device Protection, required Touch ID Tried to turn off Passcode entirely but also required Touch ID. I am at a loss. Does anyone know how to get past this problem? My only alternative is getting a new phone. 😢

I can’t change my Touch ID So I got a problem So I turned on Stolen Device Protection on my IPhone SE, and then, some time later, Touch ID stopped working (IDK why it just doesn't recognize my thumb) So I want to fix Touch ID (by deleting and re-adding my existing fingers, or adding a new finger). But I can't change Touch ID, because Stolen Device Protection doesn't trust my thumb print; it requires that I authenticate via Touch ID (which doesn't work.) A solution would be temporarily to disable Stolen Device Protection, then fix Touch ID, then re-enable Stolen Device Protection. But the problem is I’m unable to do that without a working Thumb print. Important stuff are locked because of this including saved passwords and other stuff can anybody help me fix this?

How do I turn off stolen phone ID if the dumb phone won’t recognize my touch ID After the new update, I turned on stolen phone protection. Unfortunately, the dumb phone won’t recognize my fingerprint. It didn’t require my fingerprint to start the program.

Touch ID or Face ID the solution is the same.

See the pic below which is self-explanatory

Probably you have "Always" Ticked in place of "Away from Familiar Location"

For enhanced security, there's a one-hour delay when changing your location settings from "Always" to "Away from Familiar Location." This applies even if you use Face ID for authentication.

A delay will be required when you are not at a familiar location, such as your home or work, to change security settings.

yes, i have mistakenly ticked “Always”. And it does not even work with passcode. It still needs authentication by Touch ID… Really frustrating
