Hi guys, i've got some old movies on DVD that i'd like to have on my iPhone and/or iPad to watch when i'm travelling. I've ripped the DVD and imported it to the TV app where it views fine but there is no option to download to enable me to watch it on another device. There TV shows and movies that I have bought have this option. Any ideas or suggestion greatly received.

Users may sync videos from the TV app or iTunes application to their mobile devices. It would then end up in the TV app there. Note that this syncing is one way, so keep your originals on a computer!

There are other methods of transfer as well, but then the video doesn’t end up in the TV app on mobile.
Hi, Thanks for this but it doesn't work, the MP4 files show as greyed-out so am unable to sync.
You don’t need the TV App for this - use any 3rd party video player.
Download imported video from TV app to iPhone15.
