AppleTV - how do I remove apparent links to movies I had previously shared from my Mac, via HomeSharing, which I have deleted from the Mac. Apple TV still lists them and tries to link to them.

Ok, I wanted to verify that distinction.

It is supposed to live update any changes in the library (add/remove). I’m not sure why that isn’t happening for you. What is your version macOS?

In case the library contains faulty data (“corrupt file”), then please review: Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community

You will need to remove those titles from the library in the TV app (or iTunes application) on your Mac, regardless of what you have done with the media file on disk.

On current version macOS, find the (⋯) button overlay on tiles, when hovering over a video tile. Click it to reveal the contextual menu. Choose Delete from Library. Confirm. Done.
