Phone wont charge at all

i accidentally dropped my phone in water yesterday. after a couple hours i got an emergency override notification when i tried charging my phone which i used. then about 2 hours after i noticed my phone was not charging at all. i tried connecting to different power sources, adapters, cables, etc and none worked. then i tried restarting my phone but it still didn't work. then for about 5 minutes it randomly connected to my laptop and i was able to retrieve some of my photos but i am still unable to turn my phone on now. i figured it was because my phone was not updated to ios 17.1 so while my phone was still on i tried to update it but it switched off before it could finish. now when i try to charge it it switches on for about 30 seconds to a minute and then switches off immediately without being charged at all. i tried switching my phone off when i turned on because i assumed that it was charging while turned off but the phone wont stay switched off. im so conflicted as to what to do and i really don't have the time to take it to get repaired so if you have any suggestions on what to do please help. thank you
