On your iPhone, did you have HDR turned on? HDR is High Dynamic Range, and it can be used when the lighting ranges from extremely dark to extremely bright, beyond the normal range for the camera. It works by having the camera take two (or sometimes more) images with separate settings-- one to get the dark parts and the other to get the bright parts--and putting them together in a clever computer way that makes (almost) everything line up. Great stuff! Except when the cat moves between takes.

I see that the dog stayed pretty still, but the cat's head and paw moved. Well, the cat did have a toy to play with!

There is an HDR button at the top of the screen, and you can turn that off. I leave my HDR off, because I often use my iPhone to take quick images. The best results with HDR happen when the phone is on a tripod and the subject doesn't move. You can go to Settings>Camera and have it Preserve Settings.

Let us know if that's what's going on...

Its not.

That just looks like the light pattern coming from somewhere near the window and it covers the entire chair as it goes down it appears a bit more stretched out and may look like 2 people, but its not really a hidden image or even people. Its just a optical illusion, not a hidden image.
